GA4 is event-based rather than session-based, meaning every interaction is tracked as a flexible event rather than a page view. This makes cross-device and cross-platform tracking far more accurate, but it requires deliberate configuration to capture the data you actually need.
Can you migrate our historical Universal Analytics data to GA4?
